Who has not played with LEGO in the past? Everyone has, right? LEGO x adidas continue their collaboration and this time have unleashed their creativity on the UltraBOOST 4.0 silhouette. At least they're giving you the chance to contribute too, so the child inside you can still play with LEGO blocks. Curious how? Read on!
This is not the first time LEGO and adidas have teamed up. In fact, the two already released a ZX 8000 in September 2020. It was the first time the two joined forces and it was a great success. The collab sold out and of course that is always a good sign. Then, in October 2020, the two released the news that we can expect some more great stuff in the near future, hinting at a long-term collab. We can expect not only sneakers, but also, according to rumours, garments. All in all, plenty to look forward to!
LEGO x adidas UltraBOOST 4.0 | FY7690
The UltraBOOST 4.0 silhouette is laid out in a rather quiet colour palette. The base of the sneaker is mainly composed of white mesh material, while further overlays are mainly made of textile. The silhouette also features mudguards that are processed in silver colours. On the toebox, you can find all kinds of circles that make it look like you can place LEGO blocks on it. The sides have the characteristic Three Stripes and you can make them your own by placing LEGO blocks on them to animate the sneaker. Underneath the upper of the shoe is the white signature midsole, while underneath is a contrasting black outsole.
