Are you following the NBA, dear community? The Boston Celtics also won the second game against the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals in June 2024, by a score of 105-98. Although the players on the court attracted attention of course, the stars along the sidelines were definitely not to be missed either. As usual at the finals, there were again many celebrities in attendance, with Travis Scott the standout.
It was not just Scott's presence that was remarkable, but especially what he wore on his feet. He wore a never-before-seen colour variation of his signature Jordan Jumpman Jack sneaker. This is not the first time Scott has teased a new design for this model; throughout 2023, glimpses of the Jordan Jumpman Jack were limited to public appearances, adding to the mystique surrounding the shoe.
During Game 2 at the Boston Garden, Scott was seen wearing a 'Celtics' colorway inspired by Lucky the Leprechaun, the mascot of the Boston Celtics. This look combines the classic colours of green, black and white.
The design has a black suede base with perforations on the toebox for ventilation. Green overlays enhance the Celtics look. The side features the signature inverted Swoosh in white, while the Cactus Jack logo is stamped on the heel. A black midsole and a green, durable rubber outsole complete the look.
For now, the Jordan Jumpman Jack 'Celtics' colorway appears to be an exclusive design for Travis Scott, especially for the NBA Finals. As soon as there are updates on a possible release of these exclusive kicks, you will be of course the first to hear about it via the Sneakerjagers news page. Stay tuned for more details, dear community!
