The Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe is getting another colorway. Earlier in 2022, the first 'Light Cream' colorway was introduced. Now, some two months later, the first images of the 'Brown' colorway have surfaced. The sneaker has no official release date yet but is expected at Nike in 2022.
The NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe has a basic look. According to Tom Sachs, New York-based artist, this was also the intention. The sneaker was designed as an "ordinary shoe for the ordinary people" (Nike, 2022). In early June 2022, the first colorway of the General Purpose Shoe was released. Since then, images of various colorways have surfaced and so has the 'Brown'.
The 'Brown', as the name suggests, has a brown upper. The upper is mesh and the suede overlays give the sneaker a chic look. The NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe has a low fit. On the tongue and heel are pull tabs placed. This makes the sneaker easy to put on.
On the center panel appears the Swoosh. This has been given a burgundy color and matches well with the midsole, which has also been given this color. On the tongue, the Nike logo has been placed. The outsole has been given a waffle pattern and is colored black. On the heel, Nike is printed in the suede.
NikeCraft is also inscribed in handwriting on the outsole. In the label on the tongue, we see Tom Sachs' branding. The Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe 'Brown' is expected to arrive at Nike in 2022. Keep an eye on our release calendar for the latest updates.
