Did you know that it was only in 2016 that skateboarding was officially approved by the International Olympic Committee and debuted at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo? Since then, skateboarding has evolved into one of the Olympics' most spectacular and unmissable events.
So to celebrate this success, it seems that Nike SB is planning a collaboration with the Olympic Committee to introduce an exclusive range of shoes and apparel. In doing so, the SB Dunk Low will be particularly in the spotlight.
The SB Dunk Low Safari 'Olympics' presents a color palette featuring phantom, black, monarch, summit white, and chlorine blue. The shoe is crafted from breathable leather with perforations for enhanced breathability. Mesh is utilised for both the tongue and inner lining, adding to the overall comfort. Additionally, the upper of the shoe appears to be made of suede, with overlays that feature an eye-catching safari print. Furthermore, the Swoosh is rendered in black, while the chlorine blue laces and orange Nike logo on the tongue harmonise with the inner lining. Finally, a white midsole and a black rubber outsole complete the design.
The release date has yet to be confirmed, but an announcement is expected soon. So keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page and our Instagram for the latest updates!
