An OG model from Nike is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. It is, of course, the Air Structure Triax 91. As you can tell from the name, the model was first released in 1991. In recent weeks, several OG colourways of the sneaker have been re-released to celebrate the anniversary. But these pairs are not the only ones: Nike has even more colourways planned, including this WMNS Air Structure Triax 91 'South Beach'. Check out the sneaker with retro colours below!
Air Structure Triax 91 'South Beach' | CZ1529-100
This colourway was designed especially for women. The sneaker has been given a quiet white base that makes the bright colours pop. The colour combination of pink, purple and blue is reminiscent of the 90s. The combination of the model and the bright colours create a retro look that we love!
What we saw before with this model, are the different colours above the Air Unit. This is also the case with this sneaker: on the inside, the pink colour is incorporated, while on the outside, the purple colour is visible.
When you take a closer look at the shoes, you can clearly see the mesh material on the upper, which is underneath the light grey and blue overlays. Looking only at the front of the sneaker, this white/grey/blue/pink colour combination is a bit reminiscent of the Nike Air Force 1 'Watermelon' from 2018.
