Dear Community, adidas x Parley for the Ocean have teamed up for another collaboration. The new collection consists of iconic models from the Three Stripes Brand, reinterpreted for a better future. We're talking models like the Superstar, to the Nizza and many more. These iconic silhouettes have shaped the last decades and are now set to do the same in the future.
Who is Parley for the Ocean?
Parley is an environmental organisation and a global cooperation network. It was founded by Cyrill Gutsch in 2012. The organisation wants to draw attention to the vulnerability of our oceans. To do this, Parley for the Oceans inspires and empowers different groups, including brands such as adidas, but also governments, scientists and many more to explore new ways and approaches for a bluer planet.

Spring/Summer 2022 Collection
All the sneakers in the new collection are made from yarn that is at least 50% recycled ocean plastic. The plastic waste comes from remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, where it is captured and collected to prevent further pollution of our oceans.
The other 50% of the yarn is made from recycled polyester. All silhouettes in the new Spring/Summer collection combine effortless style and progress in one.
Leading the collection are two updated interpretations of the iconic Nizza silhouette. The Nizza Parley Hi and Nizza Parley Lo.
Both pairs consist of a wound fabric that is assembled layer by layer, minimising waste in the production process.
The rest of the collection consists of a range of innovative versions of the Superstar, Stan Smith, ZX 8000, Forum Mid, Forum Low and NMD_R1, as well as two exclusive WMNS Forum Bold W and the Nizza Platform W silhouettes. The collaboration thus puts a new spotlight on some of adidas' most iconic silhouettes.
Each of the sneakers in plain black and white is a step towards waste reduction. Icons of today, made for tomorrow!
