Nike returns this summer with a new ACG collection. ACG, which stands for 'All Conditions Gear', is a clothing line from Nike that focuses on making outdoor clothing for all weather conditions.
For each collection, they explore a new location and use the local nature as inspiration for the clothes. The ACG summer 2022 collection is inspired by the rugged landscape of Spirit Lake, a lake in Washington state.
Behind the Design
Nike ACG is dedicated to making outdoor clothing that is both stylish and durable. With the new summer collection, the sports brand wants people to look at nature with a different perspective. Being outdoors should be experienced as something fun, and having the right gear helps with that.
The new ACG collection consists of a wide range of clothing and footwear. The collection is designed with the idea of making the best items for the summer. In the hot summer months, it is important that clothing contains three important qualities: it must be breathable, easy to move around and it must be useful.
The clothing is designed for all summer conditions, so you can dress for all weather. Each garment in the collection is designed with a function, so you can put together an outfit for every adventure.
Apparel Nike ACG 'Summer 2022' collection
The collection includes t-shirts, cargo shorts, trail pants jackets and hiking boots. Below, we will first look at the most important garments of the collection.
In this picture we see the 'Fruits and Veggies' t-shirt. The tee features a graphic on which different fruits and vegetables are printed in the shape of the ACG logo. The model is also wearing the 'Cinder Cone' windbreaker.
This jacket is made from a water-repellent material. The all-over print refers to the volcanic rocks near Mount Saint Helens in Washington. The salmon-coloured cargo shorts are breathable and water-repellent.
This cheerful men's top is the Nike Dri-FIT ACG UV 'Snowgrass'. Despite the long sleeves, the top is very ventilating due to the Dri-FIT material which keeps you cool and covered from the sun. It features an all-over print of different types of plants. The sunglasses have a white frame with reflective lenses. This accessory only has no release date yet.
The t-shirt with a large 'HIKE' print on it is made of 100% sustainable materials. Furthermore, the model wears cargo with all-over camouflage. The sporty glasses have a black frame with black lenses. It is not yet known when these glasses will be released.
There are also items specifically for the ladies. For example, there is a set that consists of a top and leggings. Both parts of the set are covered in all-over camouflage print. The model in the background is wearing a grey striped top and olive green ACG skirt.

The collection also includes several trail shoes designed and tested in the rugged Pacific Northwest.
Nike ACG Lowcate
The ACG Lowcate is a hiking boot designed to cover long distances on the trails. The upper is made of a mix of materials, which makes it sturdy and breathable. The outsole consists of two parts: hard rubber in the middle of the sole and soft rubber under the forefoot and arch.
The soft rubber is also more sticky and gives the shoe extra grip. A web system at the midfoot ensures that the shoe sits securely around the foot.
The ACG Moc will be available in three different colorways. The 'Light Iron Ore' colorway is off-white and green. It also features a gum outsole. The 'Wolf Grey and Bright Crimson' colorway features an upper that is predominantly grey, blue and red. The last style, the 'Black and Cool Grey', has a clean look due to the combination of the colours black and grey. The pink speckled laces give the shoe a playful touch.
Nike ACG Moc 3.5 'Black'
The Nike ACG Moc 3.5 'Black' is the ultimate comfy hiking shoe. The upper is lightweight and made of a mix of materials. The sole contains a robust rubber profile which makes it an ideal shoe to take into the wild. This pair is only available in the 'Black' colorway.
The Nike ACG Summer 2022 collection will be available in Europe from 28 May, 2022. The garments will be available for sale through the Nike website and various other retailers.
