2021 was a good year for New Balance. The brand had a lot of collaborations, including Kith, Aimé Leon Dore, Casablanca, Salehe Bembury and Joe Freshgoods. In addition, they released the M2002 Protection Pack which sold out in no time and is now circulating at high prices in the resell world. In 2022, New Balance also has big plans.
The coming year, the Boston-based sports brand will bring back the 2002R model. The sneaker comes out in four different colorways, blue, taupe, red and green. The upper of this silhouette is made of mesh. The 'N' on the side is in grey and reflective on all four colourways.
New Balance's 57/40 silhouette also makes an appearance in the lineup for 2022. The base of the upper is mesh and in cream. Above this is premium suede in a dark blue colour. Around the upper are pink accents. The 'N' on the side is in green. The cream colour of the upper is repeated on the midsole and outsole.
The New Balance 327 comes out in a black and pink colour scheme in 2022. The upper of the pair is made of textile in black. The suede overlays are also in black. The 'N' on the side and the lower part of the midsole are light pink. The upper lacing eyelets are covered by a suede overlay in green.
The XC-72 model, which was first introduced in 2021, will get at least two new colourways this year. One of the two colour schemes is all black. The other colour scheme consists of black, light grey and yellow. The heeltab of the second colour scheme also includes orange.
