These music artists have collaborated with adidas

adidas brings the world of sneakers and music together by working with different music artists. Over the years, we have seen a number of collections and exclusive releases from legendary figures in the music industry.

The collaborations between adidas and the artists resulted in a worldwide success. Also, the collaborations made these characters loyal partners of the brand. To celebrate this, we have compiled a list of some of the artists who have joined forces with adidas for a collaboration.

These musical partners of the German brand not only carry a special name within the music world, but also carry a special name within adidas.

1. Kanye West

We begin the list with none other than the iconic Kanye West. In collaboration with adidas, Kanye West released the Yeezy collections. The first Yeezy collection was released in 2015 and was called the 'Yeezy Season 1'.

Soon, this collaboration attracted a lot of popularity and the collection was mostly known for its military prints and neutral colour schemes. The duo stayed together and dropped multiple Yeezy collections together. More and more different Yeezy models and variants were added to the collaboration.

2. Beyoncé

At number two is one of the most powerful women in the music industry. Together with adidas, Beyoncé released the Ivy Park collection for the first time in 2019. In an interview, Beyoncé explained how the collaboration between her and the brand would last a lifetime. She described how adidas on different perspectives perfectly matched the norms and values the singer believes in.

Beyoncé was very excited to continue the partnership with adidas and expand her collection. No sooner said than done. It didn't take long for Beyoncé to team up with adidas again. This year, the two have released their third adidas x Ivy Park collection.

3. Pharrell Williams

At number three is Pharrell Williams. In the beginning of 2014, rumours circulated that the artist would collaborate with the German brand. However, it didn't take long for the singer and producer to make these rumours true. In the same year, the duo released their first Pharrell Williams x adidas collection.

What makes the collaboration so unique are the cheerful colorways that the artist releases on the adidas models. Pharrell Wiliams, for example, has given the Superstar models a rainbow makeover. The model has appeared in no less than 50 different colorways. Pharrell Williams remained a partner of adidas and together they released a number of successful collections.

4. Rita Ora

At number four is Rita Ora, the first female partner of adidas. The English artist was known for her music and distinctive clothing style, among other things. This was one reason why adidas approached the singer. Thus, Rita Ora became an official partner of adidas in the same year as Pharrell Williams, in 2014.

The artist took her role in the collaboration very seriously. The singer studied the adidas models of the past 50 years and was very involved in her designs herself. The first Rita Ora x adidas collection was released in 2014 and was inspired by the artworks of Roy Lichtenstein. Rita Ora also remained a partner of adidas and they released several more collections together.

Unfortunately, the products of this partnership are no longer available at adidas, but you can try your luck at reseller platforms such as StockX!

5. Bad Bunny

At number five, we have Bad Bunny. Compared to the artists above, Bad Bunny is a newcomer on the scene. The singer has only started working with adidas this year.

For example, the first Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Low was released this year in March. The silhouette has been named 'The First Cafè' and is referenced to the cup of coffee the musical artist takes every morning during his morning routine. Three more colorways of the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Low have since been released, including the popular 'Easter Egg'.

Besides the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum low, there are many other variants of the Forum low model available.
