Australian fashion and sneaker boutique Up There is teaming up with Japanese sneaker brand ASICS. The two brands have been working together for quite some time and are now introducing their own sneaker. The Up There x ASICS GT-II has a bright look and combines the colors grey, pink and green. The pair is expected to be released in August 2022.
The ASICS GT-II is an iconic silhouette and was recently used in an AFEW collab. The two names came up with the 'Polar Shade' and 'Chocolate Brown' colorways. Now Up There comes out with its own colorway. The colorway takes its inspiration from Japanese chrysanthemum and pink heather flowers.
The upper colors pink with orange and is made of mesh. The overlays turn gray and are made of suede. The ASICS logo appears on the toe and Up There is stitched on the mudguard near the toe. This hints at the collaboration with the Australian store. A flower is stitched on the heel, which colors white and yellow.
The tongue and midsole color off-white and give the sneaker a retro look. The collar is light green and matches nicely with the light pink upper. The sneaker also comes with a GEL cushioning technology. This technology provides cushioning and comfort.
