It has been a few weeks since we have seen a Nike SB Dunk Low release. The last two colorways that came out were the 'Street Hawker' and 'Court Purple' colorway. Now the next sneaker is waiting for us. We are of course talking about the Nike SB Dunk Low 'Pink Pig'.
What is the Nike SB Dunk Low 'Pink Pig' inspired by?
Looking at the name, you might think that the SB Dunk is inspired by a pig, but this is incorrect. The Nike SB Dunk Low 'Pink Pig' is inspired by the Pink Pig Porsche 917/20. This race car was first seen at the 39th Grand Prix of Endurance in 1971. The car was completely pink and labelled every part of the car like a butcher would distribute his meat. The exact colours that were used on the car are again found on the Nike SB Dunk Low.

The sneaker itself is kept quite simple. The upper is completely made of suede, except for the tongue, which is made of nylon. This suede and nylon have been given a pink colour. A flattering red colour is used for the Nike branding on the tongue and heel. The sneaker comes with an extra pair of laces in the same colour. The upper rests on a white midsole that is combined with a black rubber outsole.
Some raffles are already open at END Clothing and Sneakersnstuff. In addition, the sneaker will be released on Saturday 13 February via the Nike SNKRS App for €100.
