The yellow cartoon characters have been around for 30 seasons now. Even if you have never seen an episode, we all know The Simpsons. adidas releases several sneakers inspired by the series. In this blog, we are going to talk about The Simpsons x adidas Superstar 'Squishee', inspired by the famous drink from the Kwik-E-Mart. This is a smoothie that Bart and Milhouse frequently drink.
In January 2021, an adidas sneaker inspired by The Simpsons also dropped. This one was all about 'Krusty Burger', the famous (but dubious) burger from the series.
This time it's the adidas Superstar and an adidas ZX 10000, which see a collaboration with the yellow characters. The Squishee, which is featured on the Superstar, comes from (according to fans) the best episode ever! So we're not surprised that this drink was used as inspiration on the silhouette.

The adidas Superstar is a true icon and will not disappear from the street scene any time soon. This time, we also see the characteristic rubber 'Shell-toe' and 'three-stripes' on the shoe. As we have already mentioned, this time the Superstar is all about the Squishee. The upper of the sneaker is green, just like the cup of the drink. The details of the shoe are orange, which is similar to the details of the frozen drink.
The nose and sole of the adidas sneaker also has a cool detail. It has been given an iced-out look. This of course refers to the frozen drink. The round circle on the upper, was probably also not to be missed. It stands for the round logo on the cup.
The lip reads 'Kwik-E-Mart', where you can get the drink. The shoe is finished off with black details.

We expect the sneaker to drop simultaneously with The Simpsons x adidas ZX 10000 'Flaming Moe's', which can also be found in the release calendar.
