The Reebok Zig 3D Storm Hydro SS21 has futuristic appeal

Reebok designer Evan Belforti has revealed on Instagram their latest sneaker, the Zig 3D Storm Hydro SS21. This footwear is part of Reebok's own series of special projects and could be one of Reebok's best new models in ages. Read all about this new modern sneaker below.

Zig 3D Storm Hydro SS21 G55680

The Zig 3D Storm Hydro stands on the second generation Zig Kinetica II midsole. On top of this modern sole is a highly complex and futuristic upper.

The Zig 3D Storm Hydro has a brand new upper inspired by old water shoes, football boots and the Winter Runner III from 2000. The upper has a complex locking system known as the ShelterShield. This shell covers the instep in its entirety and wraps around the lace and foot for increased security and protection. In addition, the sneaker also has a Speed Lace lacing system with a toe-hook lacing system.

The slim sneaker has a mesh base and is finished with synthetic overlays. One side of the shoe is very flat. The other side of the model has a bit more dimension. This is because of the ShelterShield Shroud. It starts at the toebox and extends all the way down the mid-line to a small hook at the ankle. On the other side of the hook you can find the logo.
