To make this blog post something very special for you, we decided to focus on the upper of our three chosen Reebok sneakers. The upper of a sneaker can fulfill several functions. There is of course the look which gives the shoe it's character. Then there are materials that are extra breathable and others that are water repellent or even impermeable. The upper can be taken to protect the feet or it can adapt perfectly to the foot so you wear it like a second skin. As you can see it has much more than just one function. The materials help to do so, are presented here to you today.
1. Daytona DMX II Shoes
This Reebok sneaker in white/red has the name Daytona DMX II Shoes and attracts attention with its strong color accents. But not only the strawberry red and the snow white stand out positively on this shoe. The DMX cushioning system is also built into the sole. The air is pushed back and forth between front and back with every step which make it very comfortable to walk in them. An EVA midsole guarantees comfort no matter how long you wear the sneakers. Furthermore the sole has black traction boosters made of robust rubber.
But now let's get to the upper. The modernized retro version in 'Legacy Red', black and white is made of breathable textile and synthetics. The base is made of a textile mesh fabric.
