Nike and Paul Martin Rodriquez, better known as P-Rod, are reuniting in 2025. In the past, the American skateboarder has already released several sneakers with Nike. One of them, the signature Nike SB P-Rod 1, will return in 2025. The sneaker arrives in its OG colorway.
Rodriguez is a skateboarding legend from Los Angeles, America. P-Rod, short for Paul Rodriquez, made an immediate impact in his early teens and has meant a lot to the skate world in a short period. As the first skateboarder to join Nike, he paved the way for many who came after him.
In 2005, the duo came out with their first sneaker and more releases quickly followed. Until the year 2017, P-Rod released 10 different signature shoe models. In 2015, P-Rods' importance to the growth of Nike SB was crowned with a first retro release of the SB P-Rod 1.
In 2025, the same sneaker will get another retro release to celebrate the silhouette's 20-year anniversary. The sneaker will appear in its OG colorway. The upper is high-quality white leather. The quilted leather on the heel gives the sneaker a chic look. Black details contrast nicely with the upper.
