Patta and Diadora have a new collaboration in 2021. This is not the first time the brands have joined forces, as it's already the fifth sneaker they have designed together. The Patta x Diadora N9000 'Game On' released on Friday, April 30, 2021.
Diadora N9000
The N9000 model was first released in 1990 and was designed as a running shoe. The sneaker contains the unique VIBRASSORB sole cushioning technology and EVA support that provide extra comfort. What was special about the model was that many footballers such as Baggio and Van Basten wore the sneaker during training and between matches.
In addition, Diadora was also a sponsor of the Italian national team during the 1990 World Cup, which gave the shoe a popularity boost. Over the years, the N9000 slowly turned into a lifestyle shoe and had a particularly important influence on the street scene of the 90s.
Patta x Diadora collabs
Patta and Diadora have created several designs on the N9000 model. One of these shoes became a tribute to the Milan footballer Van Basten. Below you can see the 'Italia', '1st Colonial' and the '9' colorways.

The Patta x Diadora N9000 'Game On' is made in Italy and features different materials. The black upper consists of shearling nubuck suede, premium leather and nylon mesh. Furthermore, the bright yellow Diadora logo on the sides of the shoe stands out. The sole is kept classic white, as a reference to the running past.
