Nike will soon introduce Next Nature, a new sustainable collection, continuing their journey to zero carbon and zero waste.
Sustainable Nike Collection
Nike Dunk has been releasing Dunks since 1985 and they continue to amaze us time and time again. This time it's not just the colorway or look that's being changed. The new collection consists of two Nike Dunk sneakers:
1. The Nike Dunk Low comes dressed in a Sequoia, Orange-Medium Olive-Sail color blocking - dark version
2. The Nike Dunk High which comes in Rattan, Black, Summit White and Sail colours - light version
Both Dunks are made from at least 20% recycled material by weight. In addition, they are completed with a Made in Winter tag on the heel. The Dunks have gum outsoles and speckled midsoles, which are made by Nike Grind.
What is Nike Grind?
Nike Grind ensures that what was once considered waste is transformed into new opportunities. Their long-term vision is to create a continuous cycle without waste.
'Waste is simply excess material in the wrong person’s hands.'
Peggy Reid, directeur Circulaire Economie, Nike, Inc.
