That the Nike Air Structure Triax will be making a comeback in 2021 is now clear. One of them is the OG Neo Teal and Infrared colorway. Fortunately, the sneaker is not only for adults, but we can also give the kids a piece of history, as the Nike Air Structure Triax '91 will be released in kids sizes as well. Now, the first images of a tropical colorway have surfaced.
History
Originally named Air Structure upon release, the sneaker expanded Nike's running shoe line. The slightly wider sole with flat bottom provided the shoe with more stability. One reinforced Air Unit with flex notches in the forefoot made it the most comfortable runner of the time. What was special about the OG colorway was that it used two different colorways on the upper. This was very special back in 1991. Even the outer Air Unit was different from the one on the inside.

In terms of materials, nothing has changed. The base is made of white mesh. Over this white mesh are grey and white leather overlays. One blue colour is used for the eyelets, while a red colour is used on the Nike Branding and Air unit. A black tongue, Swoosh and sockliner provide some contrast on the upper. Looking at the midsole, black speckles are used for decoration.
