Images of the Rotterdam-inspired Air Max have been circulating for a few weeks now. The model features the colours of the great port city.
The upper of the Nike Air Max BW is made of mesh, textile and leather. Most elements on the sneaker are black. Around the upper is a white line and white heel cap that makes the design a bit more playful. The Swoosh, collar and tongue are in green that refers to Rotterdam.
Besides the fact that the colour has to do with the Dutch city, there is an extra detail on the tongue. On the tongue, it says '220 BPM'. This refers to the hardcore culture of the nineties. This played a big role in the nightlife of the city.
This Air Max is part of the 'City Pack' which also includes sneakers inspired by Lyon and Los Angeles.
