The Nike Air Max 1 'Summit White' features a secret colorway

At the beginning of the year we hardly got to see any Air Max 1 releases. There were even rumours, that production for the legendary sneaker was going to stop. Fortunately, this was not true and more and more colorways are coming out on the sneaker. The upcoming Air Max 1 'Summit White' looks at first sight just like a white Air Max 1. But secretly turns out to have more in it.

The Air Max 1 first came out in 1987 and was designed by Tinker Hatfield. Tinker showed the Air Unit for the first time in his design, which made it look like there was a hole in the sneaker. The idea of showing the Air Unit came from the Centre Pompidou building in Paris. This building shows all the pipes on the outside. The Air Max 1 was the birth of one of the best sneaker models of all time.

The upper part of the sneaker is made of white leather. A small nice detail added on the tongue and heel. Here the Swoosh has been split in two and has been given the colour brown and white. What makes this sneaker so special is that you get a cloth with the sneaker so you can show the bottom layer of the shoe. This bottom layer has a brown colour and matches so well with the split Swoosh.

The Nike Air Max 1 'Summit White' will release on Tuesday, December 1st at Nike for €140. Take a look at the images below and keep an eye on the release calendar to never miss another sneaker release. Also check out out blog, wehre you can find blogpost about the most important upcoming releases.
