The 2004 Nike Air Max 1 Crepe 'Hemp' returns in 2022. The Air Max 1 celebrates its 35th Anniversary in 2022 with the return of the 'Hemp'.

The Nike Air Max 1 Crepe 'Hemp' was first released in 2004. The sneaker had a striking look and the toe box and collar were made of jute. This made it a very unique pair. The mudguard was dark brown and the crepe sole completed the pair. Now this beloved model is coming back.

The updated 'Hemp' shares the same 'Burlap' upper. The overlays at the heel and on the mid-panel are made of leather and colour light brown. The lacing eyelets also feature a light brown leather element. The mudguard is dark brown and made of suede.

An aqua blue Swoosh has been placed on the middle panel. This was also seen on the 2004 version. The 'Crepe' outsole is also found on this version and completes the pair. The label on the tongue features the Nike Air logo. This logo also appears on the heel. The Air Unit is brown and combines well with the upper of the sneaker.

The Air Max 1 was designed by Tinker Hatfield in 1987 and celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. Nike is celebrating this with the return of the 'Hemp', which is a very popular model with sneaker fanatics. The model does not yet have an official release date. However, the sneaker is expected in 2022.
