The Nike Air Max 1 'Crepe Hemp' has a release date

The highly anticipated Air Max 1 'Crepe Hemp' has been given a release date. The colorway was introduced in 2004 and stands out for its unique use of materials. Now, more than 15 years later, the sneaker returns during the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1. The 'Crepe Hemp' will be released on September 15, 2022.

In late 2021, news broke that the 'Crepe Hemp' colorway would return. The colorway has been a favorite with many Air Max 1 enthusiasts since its release in 2004. As the name suggests, the upper is made of hemp. This combined with the turquoise details gives the sneaker its unique look.

Now the colorway returns and Nike has announced the official release date. The Air Max 1 'Crepe Hemp' will be available at Nike and various retailers on September 15, 2022. Unlike its predecessor, this version has been given hemp details.

Because the hemp upper of the 2004 'Crepe Hemp' quickly wore out, its successor received a woven upper. The mudguard is suede and brown. The overlays color light brown and, like the mudguard, are suede. The Swoosh is placed on the center panel. It colors light blue here.

Like its predecessor, the updated version is supported by a crep outsole. This gives the sneaker a retro look and completes the design. Nike branding appears on the tongue and heel. The Nike Air Max 1 'Crepe Hemp' drops on September 15, 2022. Click the button below to view release details via our release calendar.
