Tinker Hatfield's iconic Nike Air Huarache celebrates its 30th anniversary this year in 2021. The silhouette has seen many colorways since 1991, including the returning OG "Scream Green" colorway that was recently released. This time around, the Huarache Black/White colorway will be re-released, also a colorway from the early 1990s. Read on for all the details on this new clean and balanced design.
Sneaker details
The new pair has familiar colours, but it is different from what we are used to from the Huaraches. The sneaker is often seen in many strikingly coloured models. Now it's time again for a so-called "yin-and-yang" colourway. Of course, the balance has to be there! The model has a mesh base, which provides a breathable effect. The lower layers and the outsole have been given a black colour, while the rest of the upper is made of white drummed leather.
The white midfoot also provides structural support. This white colour is also visible on the laces and the Phylon midsole. The black tongue has been given a white Huarache logo, which provides a contrast to the model. The strap around the heel tab is made semi-transparent, while the sides are black.
