This release was supposed to take place on Thursday 17 June a while back. It has now been moved up two months and will come out on Thursday 12 August. Recently, images of a men's Air Force 1 that is also part of this collection surfaced. This model is more inspired by coconut milk. There is no official release date for this colorway yet.

The upper of the Air Force 1 Happy Pineapple is made mainly of recycled canvas. The Swoosh and heeltab are made of pineapple leaves. This gives this model a sustainable twist and makes this release part of Nike's Move To Zero project.
The base of the upper is in a light cream colour. The overlays are in mint green, giving this silhouette a truly summery look. A patch of a pineapple sits on the tongue to signify the collection.
The inner and outer sole contains cork. This is a durable material and not harmful to the environment. In addition, cork is also a tree, which is in line with the plant theme of the Happy Pineapple collection. The midsole, on the other hand, is plain white. So the midsole and outsole together look a bit like a coconut.
