This winter Nike ACG will be back with a new collection. As usual, we have a lot of apparel, accessories and of course sneakers with optimal outdoor features. This year Nike's Sustainability Movement also plays a big role in the collection. 85% of the new ACG collection consists of more than 90% recycled material.
So the goal this time was not just to create new and high-quality equipment. Nike wants it to be more about appreciating the outdoor environment and experiencing it in an environmentally conscious way, which is why sustainability and performance meet here. For example, Nur Abbas, Nike Design Director for ACG Apparel says: "That balance between performance and sustainability is key to Nike ACG".
The latest collection is designed with many layers and its inspiration comes from Smith Rock - a park with volcanic rock located in central Oregon in the USA.
