The 2002R model is one of the most popular models of New Balance at the moment. The brand has already released a number of variants of the model in different colorways. This time, the brand is expanding its 2002R collection with a new pair and giving the silhouette a 'White Lagoon' look.
The silouette is based on the 2002 model by New Balance. It first appeared in 2010 and was considered a luxury running shoe. A few years later, in 2020, New Balance updated the 2002 model and added the letter R to its name. Since then, the 2002R model has been released in a number of colorways and these pairs have attracted a lot of popularity.
Images of The Basement x New Balance 2002R have recently been released. Here, the 2002R model will be released in collaboration with the British sneaker community in two different colorways. Unfortunately, it is not yet known when The Basement and New Balance will release the sneakers.

The upper of the model is made of a number of different materials. For example, the base of the model is made of mesh, with overlays made of leather and suede. These can be found at the mudguard, the laces and the heel.
The sneaker is mainly white, with yellow and blue accents found all over the shoe. On the side of the shoe, the N-logo can be found. This has a white colour and is finished with a blue border.
The pair features a yellow midsole, which is processed with ABZORB technology and heel cushioning. Furthermore, the model has a black N-ergy shock absorbing outsole. Adding these elements to the silhouette gives the shoe a comfortable feel while wearing.
The New Balance 2002R 'White Lagoon' is now available on the New Balance website. Are you curious which sneakers will be released soon? Keep an eye on our release calendar and follow us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
