The New Balance 2002R 'Protection Pack - Rain Cloud' gets a restock at Footshop. It was first released in the summer of 2021 in a pack with two other colorways, 'Phantom' and 'Sea Salt'.
This New Balance 2002R has a unique look. Instead of a smooth upper, the upper of this silhouette seems to be broken up. This creates a rough look.
The upper of this pair is made of mesh in dark grey. Over this, black leather overlays run. The elements that steal the show are the suede elements around the nose, on the side and around the heel. These suede elements have a rugged finish and appear worn in.
The tongue and the branding on the side are also in grey. The different shades of grey live up to the name 'Rain Cloud'. The midsole, on the other hand, is in cream and has a vintage look. There are red and green accents on the midsole. Finally, the outsole is black. The sole has an extra effect and looks worn.
