The California-based Museum of Peace & Quiet has teamed up with Vault by Vans to design a new footwear collection. Together they have created colorways for the OG Style 36, OG Authentic LX and the OG Mule LX. The sneakers released on Friday March 11, 2022 on the MOPQ website and at selected Vault by Vans shops.
The collaboration applies Museum of Peace & Quiet's signature off-white and green colour palette to Vans' silhouettes. The upper of the skate shoes is covered in high-quality leather and the slip-ons are made of suede.
All four styles represent MoPQ's mission. This means that the collection brings an uncluttered aesthetic to a rather noisy world.
Christion Lennon, one of the founders of the company, says about the collection: "I think this collaboration is a perfect mesh between both brands. Vans have been a go-to staple shoe for as long as we can remember. We stay true to our brand with a pure, uncluttered aesthetic inspired by the stillness and serenity of nature."
