Today it is Tuesday again, which is the day we look at the 'Most Wanted Sneaker Releases' of last week. In the week from Monday 15 August 2022 till Sunday 21 August 2022, a lot of colorways from different brands were released. We finally got the long awaited models from thisisneverthat in collaboration with New Balance and also the Nike Dunk High 'Mocha' got its release.
Popular sneakers also have a downside, because they sell out very quickly. However, it is still possible to buy one of the sneakers below via a marketplace. If you go to the Sneakerjagers resell page, you can see at which platform the pair is offered the cheapest.

1. thisisneverthat x New Balance 1906R | M1906RTI
This week's Most Wanted Sneaker Release is the thisisneverthat x New Balance 1906R. Since the 1906R has not been on sale at New Balance for a long time, this design looks like a new silhouette.
The model has a running look, which is especially visible in the upper of the sneaker, which is made of light grey mesh. Eye-catching details are the brown stains around the upper, which make it look like the pair have already been worn. The overlays are covered in silver leather with grey and white accents. To complete the 'worn' look, the laces are yellowed, as is the midsole.
2. thisisneverthat x New Balance 2002R | M2002RTH
Second on the list is the other silhouette from the thisisneverthat x New Balance collection, the 2002R. The 2002R is a very popular model at the moment, so it's not surprising that it got a makeover as well.
The 2002R comes in a classic colour combination of grey and navy. The base on the toe is made of mesh and is light grey. The tongue and collar are made of cracked leather, which gives the sneaker a vintage look. The overlays are made of different leathers, including suede and premium. By doing so, layers are created on the sneaker. To further show the difference in layers, grey and navy blue tones are used on the overlays and outsole.
3. adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 'Vanta' | FU6684
In 2019, the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 'Vanta' was released. On August 19, 2022, the colorway received a restock. The model has a chunky look and combines dynamic overlays all over the design.
The 'Vanta' is all black and combines the materials mesh, suede and leather. The sneaker features wavy details that create a dynamic and modern look. The most striking aspect of the design is the midsole, which has been given abstract elements. The sole to this features Boost technology which provides cushioning and comfort.
4. adidas Crazy 1 'Storm Trooper' - The Kobe | GY3810
The Crazy 1 was originally called the Kobe 1, a signature shoe of Kobe Bryant. Until it was renamed the Crazy 1 in 2013. Designed by Eirik Lund Nielsen, the basketball shoes have a streamlined silhouette inspired by the aerodynamic shape of the Audi TT.
The 'Stormtrooper' colorway, features the black and white colour scheme of the elite soldiers from the Star Wars franchise. The white synthetic upper and EVA midsole contrast with the black collar, heel and outsole, which is made of double foam. Other details include a grey half-shell toe, a translucent spoiler on the heel and the embossed 3 Stripes on the mid-panel.
5. Nike Dunk High Retro 'Mocha' | DJ6189-201
Last in line is the Nike Dunk High Retro 'Mocha'. The 'Mocha' is a minimalistic colorway. This is due to the two earth tones that have been used throughout the silhouette. A light brown colour is used for the base of the sneaker. The overlays and outsole have been given a different shade of brown that resembles 'Brown Kelp', which we have seen in the past. The design is completed by a white Swoosh, laces and midsole.
