After previous releases in dark brown suede, a black leather variant, and even a version with GORE-TEX, Mizuno once again welcomes their modern classic: the Wave Prophecy Moc. For AW25, the sneaker appears in a luxurious taupe suede edition.
A release that, with its chic and technical appearance, fits perfectly within today’s sneaker landscape.
The sneaker rests on Mizuno’s signature Infinity Wave midsole, which provides the recognizable cushioning and comfort the brand is known for from heel to toe, while also giving the model its futuristic look. The upper is made from soft suede in a monochrome taupe colorway.
Although the 'sneaker-loafer' trend has recently seen a clear revival, Mizuno seems to approach this trend a little differently. The Wave Prophecy Moc is not a hybrid silhouette bridging styles, but a design that stands entirely on its own.
The moc construction is exclusively designed for this model and serves as a subtle nod to the Infinity Ring Moc from the 2000s, an era when Mizuno already experimented with the balance between casual style and performance technology. The sneaker comes with two lacing options.
