With the Magnus Walker X Ishod Wair X Nike SB Dunk High, the Nike skateboarding sublabel has once again prepared something hot for all of us. Now official info on another new Nike SB Dunk in Wair design has finally been released! This time for the first time on the high-top variant of the SB Dunk.
And as if it wasn't enough to release a Nike SB collab with a pro like Ishod Wair, we can even look forward to a triple collab! As you can see from the title, Nike also brought Magnus Walker on board for this release.

The Magnus Walker X Ishod Wair X Nike SB Dunk High is dropping soon and will celebrate its release on Saturday, 03 July 2021 at 9AM. So you'll have to get up a little earlier, but you're used to that from Nike. The pair will cost you just under €120 and will also drop at various selected skate shops via Raffle. Ishod Wair
Since his title as "skater of the year" in 2013, Ishod Wair has become an integral part of the skate scene with his casual style in combination with difficult and daring tricks. In addition, the pro skateboarder has had a sponsorship contract with Nike since 2016 and has even been allowed to design several Nike SB signature models since then. Every single one of them has been a nice colorway of the iconic Nike SB Dunk Low silhouette.

Let's move on to the man who is pretty much responsible for the entire design of the Magnus Walker x Ishod Wair X Nike SB Dunk High. Magnus Walker is a British-born designer who moved to the USA very early in his childhood. In addition to being a fashion designer for his own brand "Serious Clothing", the almost 54-year-old has been a huge fan of vintage cars for as long as he can remember. He is particularly fond of old Porsche models, which is why he collects and customises old Porsche models.
His personal favourite is the Porsche 911, of which he naturally also has a large collection of different versions. Why are we telling you this? - Because it's exactly this passion for these kinds of cars that Ishod and Magnus share that makes up the design of the new SB Dunks!
Here you have just seen two blueprints of the shoe. While the very first design looks quite cluttered, the final result (image 2) is a prime example of creativity, extensive use of design possibilities and perfection.
In the final design, it is immediately recognisable that the special colorway is inspired by Magnus Walker's customised Porsche 911! Joking aside, if you're not a connoisseur, you won't see it at second glance. But that doesn't change the fact that the execution of the idea is more than successful!
