HUF reveals details of the Nike Air Max 1 release

In 2004, skate brand HUF teamed up with Nike and released a gray and green Air Max 1. Now, some 20 years later, the model returns in its OG colorway. We also see the sneaker appear in 'Pink Pow' and 'Brilliant Orange,' colorways that take inspiration from samples.

The HUF X Nike Air Max 1 SP pack is set to drop on 15 June 2024 at HUF, with the 'Pear' sneaker expected at Nike and selected retailers on 22 June 2024.

The 'Pear' appears in the OG colorway and shares the colours of gray and green. The upper is leather and is light gray. Dark gray overlays are placed over the upper. The green details on the collar, laces, and Swoosh give the sneaker a unique twist.

Just like the 'Pear' colorway, the 'Orange' and 'Pink Pow' versions feature a light grey leather base. With these pairs, the details (you guessed it) come in orange and pink. The most notable detail of this pack is that each pair comes with a 'Bones' keychain. Bones was the dog of HUF founder Keith Hufnagel and often spent time in the shop, making this keychain a lovely tribute.

In addition to the regular release, HUF also came out with a Friends & Family release of the Nike Air Max 1. The 'Hyperstrike,' of which there were only 24 pairs, came with a print of the San Francisco skyline designed by streetwear designer Benny Gold. However, this release will not return in 2024.

After much speculation, the official images of the 'Pear' have now been released in June 2024. Check out the official images of the HUF x Nike Air Max 1 'Pear' below!
