On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Air Huarache silhouette, which was first released in 1991, Nike is bringing back some long-awaited models from the past this year. The younger generation in particular has now been given the chance to own the OG colorways themselves. The 'Orca' colorway, for example, is part of the 'Scream Green' and 'Bright Mango' one of the very first colorways ever given to the Nike Air Huarache silhouette by the master himself, Tinker Hatfield.

As you've probably already noticed, there's not much to say about the colorblocking of the Nike Air Huarache 'Orca'. The relaunched pair comes in a black and white look, making it a perfect sneaker to match with any outfit. And if that wasn't enough, the Air Huarache has always promised a whole new experience when it comes to comfort and fit. Let's take a look at the kicks in detail:

Let's start with the toebox. There we get the comfortable and breathable material that resembles neoprene in a deep black. This then extends over the entire base to the heel area. We can look forward to the usual smooth leather overlays in the toe area, as well as in the midfoot, in a radiant white. The midsole also shines in clean white.

When we look at the label tag on the tongue, we immediately notice that we are unfortunately not allowed to celebrate the OG label tag from 1991. Of course, this is not a big minus point, but nevertheless a detail we were happy about, for example, with the re-release of 'Scream Green'.

Finally, underneath, we can see that the heel strap in black has been finished with a semi-transparent logo on the heel. As a final touch, the outsole has been placed in black to maintain the beautiful contrast.

Don't forget that with the Nike Air Huarache you always have to upsize by half a size to a whole size. This means that you'll definitely need to order a larger size, as Huaraches tend to run small by default.
