In late 2023, Pharrell Williams, current Creative Director at Louis Vuitton, showed his Men's Pre-Fall 2024 collection in Hong Kong. The collection has a maritime aesthetic and seems to take inspiration from the outfits of sailors. The first drop of the collection will be available at Louis Vuitton from April 25, 2024.

Since Pharrell Williams' entrance at Louis Vuitton, the artist, designer, and producer has been riding high. During Paris Fashion Week in the summer of 2023, Williams debuted his first collection on bridge Pont Neuf. The runway was a huge success and was closed by a performance by Williams, along with Jay-Z.

Several iconic designs have appeared since Williams made his debut, including the recent collaboration with Timberland. Now we see the first drop from the Pre-Fall 2024 collection shown in Hong Kong last year. The campaign embraced the natural landscape and skyline to better tell the collection's story.

Maritime theme

The Louis Vuitton collection has a maritime theme. Suits, blazers, tees, and accessories appear in the collection, each inspired by the outfits of sailors. The use of ropes, pinstripes, and the color sea-blue continue the theme and embrace Louis Vuitton's “Art of Travel” ethos.

It seems Louis Vuitton embraces a new theme with each collection. Williams' latest collection, shown at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year, used the cowboy as inspiration.

Recently, Tyler, The Creator also got his own Louis Vuitton collection which in turn took inspiration from the pilots' fashion.

The first drop of Pharrell Williams' Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2024 collection will be available at select Louis Vuitton retailers starting April 25, 2024. Check out images from the collection below.
