The classic Converse Weapon appears in four vintage colorways. The sneaker appears in a High and Low variant. The Converse Weapon Low 'Vintage Black', Weapon Low 'Vintage White', Weapon High 'Black' and Weapon High 'White' will all drop on February 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. sharp at Converse.
Converse Weapon High and Low
Released in the 1980s, the Converse Weapon was primarily a popular silhouette on the basketball court. The sneaker was one of Converse's first models that used leather from head to toe, unlike the well-known Chucks 70 that had a canvas upper.
The Converse Weapon High was worn by rivals Larry Bird and Magic Johnson, resulting in much interest in the model. The sneakers arrived in the colors of the tenues making it easy to support your team. The campaign with the motto "Choose Your Weapon" did well with fans, but did not get the recognition the model deserved.
In 2024, that will change. Under the motto "Outliers can win, with the right attitude," Converse is coming out with four colorways of the sneaker. The pack appears with an accompanying campaign that hints at Bird and Johnson's 1980s campaign.
The 'Vintage' pack
The Converse Weapon appears in a High and Low top. The Low variant appears in a 'Vintage Black' and 'Vintage White' colorway. The High top arrives in a 'Vintage White' and 'Black' variant.
All four colorways use premium leather. Perforation holes on the toecap and upper help the sneakers breathe. CX foam cushioning provides unparalleled comfort with every step. The Star Chevron logo pays homage to the sneaker's sports and street style.
Other classic Converse branding appears on the tongue, heel, and insole. Also, the logo is placed in the rubber on the midsole near the heel. Finally, the sneaker's model, "Weapon," is placed on the tongue.
Whether you play basketball or not, the Converse Weapon High and Low is suitable for any sneaker lover. The clean designs combined with timeless colorways make the 'Vintage' pack a strong release. The pack drops on February 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. sharp at Converse and various retailers.
