The Air Jordan 1 Low 'Chinese New Year' is full of details

The sneaker world celebrates the Chinese New Year every year with beautiful sneaker releases. Last year we saw colorways on for example the Air Max 1, Air Jordan 13 and Air Jordan 1 Low. Now we can expect another colorway this year on the Air Jordan 1 Low 'Chinese New Year'.

The Chinese New Year will be celebrated on 12 February 2021. The theme is a very popular design in the sneaker world and the design changes from year to year, because in the Chinese calendar, each year is represented by one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac. By the way, the new Year of the ox runs from 12 February 2021 to 31 January 2022. Last year, 2020, was all about the rat.

Let's now see how the ox theme got on the Air Jordan 1 Low.

The upper is not made of the usual leather, but has been replaced by full canvas. The well-known 'Bred' colorway has been used for the upper where the toebox, Swoosh and heel are red. The rest of the sneaker has been given a black colour. Over the upper there are several illustrations of the ox. Around the ankle is a red rope with at the end a knot in the gold. A white midsole and red outsole round off the sneaker.

A release date for the sneaker is not yet known, but there is a good chance that the shoe will be released sometime in February 2021. Take a look at the images below and keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar to never miss another sneaker release.
