This year there were many Jordan releases and after the Dior x Air Jordan 1 collab comes now the Air Jordan 1 High OG Japan! After the announcement that the Air Jordan 1 High Retro 'Midnight Navy' will come this year, most Air Jordan fans were already on fire. The release date of the AJ1 Navy was set for 'Fall 2020'. However, the exact release date of the 'Midnight Navy' is still unknown and on July 25, 2020 the Air Jordan 1 High Retro 'Japan' debut for about €160!

The silver Air Jordan 1!
We are not talking about the Dior x Air Jordan 1 collab but the OG release from Air Jordan 1 JPN! To be exact, Air Jordan 1 Retro Japan 'Grey' was released in 2001. But wait community, the pair was a Japan exclusive drop. The Jordan brand came up with something special. Since the Air Jordan 1 Retro Japan 'Grey' was released in 2001, the pair was only limited to 2001 pairs!
The Air Jordan 1 CO.JP will not only be a Japan exclusive drop this time. The grey and metallic silver pair debut worldwide! Nevertheless Japan will get an exclusive drop! Probably because the AJ1 is called Japan… because the Japan exclusive drop is limited to 2020 pairs. But that's not all, because the limited pairs are sold in silver 'suitcases', which are also numbered!
What makes this shoe special?
The 2020 model has not changed much from its predecessor. Okey, the toebox is silver now and the Air Jordan Wings logo is no longer greenish. But there is a small difference. The tongue is now Nike Air branded and the design is not so often seen on the Air Jordan 1 silhouette! The shoe also features the Jumpman logo on the tongue and the years 2001 and 2020.
