With the 'Life needs Equipment' campaign, adidas celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Equipment model. For this campaign, the brand brings out different variations of the classic model. adidas does this together with a number of sneaker shops all over the world.
That's how adidas and Berlin shoe shop 'Overkill' come together for the Equipment CSG 91. This pair takes its inspiration from the Equipment's first shoe line from 1991. Marc Leuschner, the CEO of Overkill, added a twist by dipping the sneaker in pastel colours.
The shoe has a white base. Over this, grey overlays can be found. Pastel-coloured accents can be found on the heel and mudguard. The three stripes on the middle panel are also dressed in pastel colours. Furthermore, the adidas and Overkill logo is printed on the heel. Finally, the kicks wear a white midsole with a black and green outsole.

The name 'CSG' stands for 'Cusion', 'Support' and 'Guidance'. These are the three parts that the upcoming pair is made up of. In addition, the numbers '91' stand for the year when the Equipment was first released.
Keep an eye on your calendar because the adidas Equipment CSG 91 Overkill will be released on Saturday, October 16, 2021 in the Overkill shop. The sneaker boutique will also open a new branch in Cologne on this release day, where the upcoming pair will also be available. From Saturday 23 October 2021 the kicks can be ordered on the Overkill website.
