Designer Takashi Murakami has teamed up with iconic label New Era. Together, they have put together a collection that consists of caps, shirts and longsleeves, all in Murakami's signature style.
Takashi Murakami is a well-known Japanese artist who is mainly known for transforming the aesthetics of Japanese traditional art into contemporary pop culture. He uses bright colours and abstract shapes. You have probably also seen the colourful flower with the smiley face.
As we just mentioned, the collection features various caps, T-shirts and longsleeves. The items come in three different colours, black, white or brown, with colourful, distinctive floral prints. In total, 14 caps made of different materials, two T-shirts, one hat and two longsleeves will appear!
On Saturday 1 January 2022, the Takashi Murakami x New Era collaboration will drop at retailers and online via newera.com.
