Solebox and Zellerfeld Launch Live 3D-Printed Sneaker Experience

Berlin’s sneaker culture has gone full future-oriented. Solebox, known for curating streetwear with precision, has teamed up with 3D-printing innovator Zellerfeld to unveil a retail concept focused on experience. And it’s happening right now at their Berlin flagship.

Forget shelves stacked with sizes and the well-known robotic Solebot grabbing your pair. This time, Solebox has replaced it with a live printer farm. This is Zellerfeld’s proprietary 3D-printing system, which customers can see working in real-time to create fully recyclable shoes. Built using only one material, no glue, no stitching, no waste.

As if the latter wasn't enough, the pair installed a dedicated foot-scanning station that captures a 3D map of your foot. Zellerfeld uses that data to craft a unique sneaker that mirrors the exact shape of your foot. Just choose your model, get scanned, and they’ll print your custom-fit pair to order.

As Solebox CEO Aljoscha Kondratiev puts it, the installation invites Berlin’s sneaker crowd to move from passive consumers to active creators, witnessing, scanning, selecting, and shaping the future of footwear from the ground up.

What do you think, will your next pair be printed? Let us know via @sneakerjagers.
