Sneakersnstuff (SNS) and New Balance are back with a new collaboration. This time they have unleashed their creativity on the 991. There will be two colorways that make up the 'Made in UK' pack. The sneakers will release on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Sneakersnstuff.
According to the Swedish retailer, this collection was inspired by when Sneakersnstuff co-founders Peter Jansson and Erik Fagerlind visited the New Balance factory in the British town of Flimby in 2005. They were there to create their first collaboration the 557.
To relive this moment and celebrate the 40th anniversary of the New Balance factory in Flimby, they have designed the pack 'Made in UK'. It consists of two different colorways that can be seen on the 991.
The sneakers have an ABZORB midsole, which provides good cushioning to the shoe. This provides extra comfort. In addition, the materials used are leather and suede, which is a perfect combination of the two materials. Suede is used for the overlays and leather for the base.
Erik used the colours yellow, blue, and white for his design. While Peter used more dark colours like dark blue, white, and grey. These are the same colours that the 557 had in 2005.
All in all, a collaboration you don't want to miss! The New Balance x SNS 'Made in UK' pack will release on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 10:00 am and will only be available for purchase on the Sneakersnstuff website.
