On Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November 2021, Sneakerness Rotterdam took place in the Van Nelle Fabriek. Sneakerness is the biggest sneaker convention in Europe. A lot of international and national fans came to the event. They could admire, buy and sell the most exclusive kicks but also listen to panel discussions of big names in the sneaker industry.
Sneakerness Rotterdam
Last weekend there were many different stands at the event selling their kicks, but also where you could buy accessories related to sneakers. A candle in the shape of an Air Jordan or a poster of your favourite pair.
The visitors all wore their favourite kicks and there were a lot of special ones too.
Besides admiring the most exclusive sneakers, there were also several panel talks. On the Saturday, at 15:00 hours you could attend The Big Tim & Tom Show of Sneakerjagers live. Here you could listen to the opinions of Tim Beumers and Tommy Triggah.
On Sunday, some big female sneakerheads came together to announce the sneaker of the year. This became the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Monarch'.
There were also several clothing stands at the convention. Patta was there and had an exclusive sale especially for the Sneakerness visitors.
Sneakerness itself worked together with Vliering Studio for their merchandise. The t-shirts were printed in front of your eyes with your favourite print and colour.
At the event, you could also pay attention to your appearance. There was a barber, among others, where you could get a fresh haircut. There was also a special nail bar where you could have your nails done in the style of your favourite pair.
Sneakerness is not Sneakerness without a tattoo stand. So you can immortalize your visit to the event. Here you could choose from several flashes of Curtis Ink Hilversum which of course had to do with kicks.
Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Black' reveal
The Sneakerness edition in Amsterdam in September was all about the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Monarch'. Edson Sabajo, one of the founders of Patta, wore the pair for the first time. Visitors were the first to get a glimpse of the popular sneaker.
The visitors of Sneakerness Rotterdam were also lucky. Edson was back and wore the silhouette in the latest colorway. With this colorway, the foursome is complete. Keep an eye on our page for the release date of this pair.
Sneakerness Rotterdam was the last edition in 2021. The next edition will take place in Zurich, Switzerland at the beginning of May 2022.
