Where did the adidas Forum Low come from?
The classic model was designed by Jacques Chassaing in 1983. For the design, Jacques took the time to observe the sport of basketball very closely. He soon realised that the players' ankles needed better support. This came from the discussions he had with athletes and their sneakers.
Jacques designed the model with a Velcro strap at the ankle. The famous three stripes of the brand can be found on the side of the shoe. Jacques also added a shock absorbing sole to the model, to make the shoe as comfortable as possible while playing basketball. Furthermore, the shoe features adi logos on the tongue, the heel and the midsole.
The shoe was finally launched a year later in 1984. In addition to its functionality, the model also quickly became loved for its looks. Over the years, more and more variants of the model were released, and each pair carries a piece of history with it.
adidas Forum Low for Toddlers
We start with the adidas Forum Low for toddlers. The base of the model is white, with pink accents all over the shoe. Over the laces is a pink bow. Furthermore, the stripes on the side of the shoe and the bow on the laces contain a nice print that completes the sneaker.
This model costs €69.99.
The second pair that we have for toddlers is also very nice. On this pair, the model takes on the colours white and dark blue. The base of the silhouette is white, over which dark blue accents can be found.
The model costs €64.99.
adidas Forum Low for Women
For the ladies we have the adidas Forum Low in a timeless colour scheme. The model has a white base over which black accents can be found. The stripes on the side are black, just like the branding on the tongue and on the side of the silhouette. The colour black can also be found on the heel clip and on the outsole of the shoe.
This model costs €99.99.
adidas Forum Low for Men
Of course, the men's adidas Forum Lows can't be missed out on. This silhouette features an upper whose base is coloured white. The shoe contains overlays that are beige in colour. These can be found on the mudguard, the laces and the heel. The stripes on the side of the silhouette are black. The colour black also makes a showing on the logos that can be found on the silhouette. The velcro strap on the tongue is yellow and matches its yellow heel clip.
The model costs €99.99.
The last pair features a black and light blue colour scheme. The shoe features light blue suede accents on the heel and laces. Furthermore, the silhouette contains a black heel clip, which matches the three stripes on the side of the shoe.
This model costs €99.99.
