In the sneaker world, you come across several trends. One of our favourite hypes right now, August 2023, is the platform sneaker. With a thicker sole, it offers both comfort and a unique twist on the original models. Nike has a range of platform sneakers in their collection, and here we share some of our favourites.
Air Force 1 Shadow
Since 1982, the Air Force 1 silhouette has gained popularity. The original AF1 model has since evolved into several variants, including the Shadow. This model features a thicker midsole and double Nike branding, giving it a unique twist.

Besides all the sneakers, Nike has also added a sandal to the platform collection. The pronounced sole of the silhouette seems to be inspired by the Air Force 1. The unusual sandal attracts attention in a positive way and adds just a little more spice to your outfit.

Earlier in this list, we saw a white Air Force 1 Shadow, but this silhouette is also available in more striking colours. This sneaker stands out even more than the original model and really catches the eye. Opt for a bold and colourful silhouette.
You can easily pair the sneaker with an all-black outfit for a refreshing contrast or opt for matching colours just like the model.
