Sean Wotherspoon and Mizuno Sportstyle have teamed up with SWJP on the Wave MG4 LS SW. The capsule comes in two colorways and is built around the idea of moving ‘From City To Nature’. The blue Wave MG4 LS SW drops on October 30.

The starting point is the Wave MG4 LS, a silhouette that picks up a vintage look here without losing its versatility. The campaign follows the sneaker from the streets of Shibuya deep into the mountains. It shows how a single shoe can switch between busy city life and rougher ground.
The story rests on three transitions: from city to nature, from everyday life to adventure, and from a Japanese exclusive to a global release. You can see that in the two versions: a blue pair for the global release and a black version that stays exclusive to Japan.
Denim, mesh and SWJP details
For the upper of the Wave MG4 LS SW, Mizuno combines denim, breathable mesh and synthetic materials. SWJP’s signature shows up in an original check graphic and bespoke insoles. It stays practical as well: the construction is made for everyday wear.

The black Japan exclusive
The second colorway is mostly black and designed for the cityscape, as a counterpart to the blue version that heads into nature. In the images you can see grey and white details against the dark base, with a light sole underneath. The material mix and SWJP details match those of the blue pair. This version only releases in Japan.

The Sean Wotherspoon x Mizuno Wave MG4 LS 'Light Blue' has a retail price of €150. The release is set for October 30, online and at select retailers. On the product page you can see right away which shops carry it.
