Sean Wotherspoon, the mastermind behind what may have been the best sneaker of 2018 – the Air Max 1/97 – is teaming up with Zellerfeld. For those who haven't heard of Zellerfeld, there's a good chance you've already seen some of their designs, such as the Nike Air Max 1000.
Nike’s former partner joins forces with Zellerfeld as Wotherspoon unveils a full line of sneakers, each designed and developed using 3D printing technologies.
The duo is revealing both a sneaker and a mule. “Sean Double U is about the different sides we all have,” Wotherspoon told Hypebeast about the collaboration. “The sneaker is for motion. The mule is for slowing down. I wanted pieces that move with every version of you.”
Both designs are fully printed from a single recyclable material. Thanks to Zellerfeld’s production method—free from glue or stitching—a seamless, streamlined silhouette is created. Additionally, each pair is perfectly tailored based on a simple foot scan.
The Sean Double U Sneaker and Sean Double U Mule are now available at Zellerfeld. Each order is made to measure.
