The Seoul-based streetwear brand SAN SAN GEAR is teaming up with PUMA again to unveil the 'Full Throttle' pack, consisting of the Mostro Cage and Talon. Both models come in an all-black colorway that effortlessly reflects the theme of the collaboration. Full throttle.
SAN SAN GEAR x PUMA
For this collaboration, the Korean label draws inspiration from the speed and vibrancy of Seoul's street life. The city, written in Korean as 서울, is known for its streetwear scene and is home to brands like thisisneverthat®, POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF), and of course, SAN SAN GEAR.
SAN SAN GEAR previously collaborated with PUMA, releasing the Mostro 'Whisp of Pink' in 2024, a sneaker that acted as a firestarter for the rerelease of the Mostro. In this latest collaboration, the Mostro Cage is featured, with added elements on the upper, including a flap that extends across the entire top.
The other silhouette, the Talon, a somewhat less popular model nowadays, gets a suede makeover. The sneaker has dynamic elements running across the upper, forming a kind of claw around the silhouette. Both models feature subtle co-branding.
