Now that we can't go to the cinema, Nike is bringing the cinema to us. The classic silhouettes of the Air Force 1 and the Blazer are inspired by the style of cinemas from the past. As we've come to expect from Nike and their 'themed sneakers', the 'popcorn' is perfectly executed, with great attention to detail and an eye on current trends.
The release info for the launch: From 9 March 2021 at 09:00 you can get the Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Popcorn' for €120 and the Nike Blazer Mid 77 'Popcorn' for €110. Read on to see the sneakers in detail.
Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Popcorn' | CW2919-100
The Air Force 1 has been given a leather upper in a cream colour, which is supposed to remind us of the colour of delicious popcorn. How fitting that this colour palette is currently all the rage. The laces, Swoosh and sole have a fresh white colour that contrasts with this.
The special features: The branding is inspired by a red/white striped popcorn bag like you used to have. The red/white colours are also found on the heel tab. There they show a playful Nike logo.
'Fresh since 82'; we see this lettering in gold on the heel. A nice allusion to the popular silhouette and its origins! The insole also features popcorn, which rounds off the sneaker.

Nike Blazer Mid 77 'Popcorn' | CW6421-100
Retro! In contrast, the Blazer comes with a white upper. The Swoosh, the heel tab and the laces are designed here as eye-catchers in the beige colour. The Blazer also features the playful Nike lettering on the heel and the striped branding on the tongue, matching the typical popcorn bags.
The gold lettering is not missing here either: 'Fresh since 77' - a real classic! A highlight of both sneakers is the golden hangtag - in the shape of popcorn, of course.
Once again for the calendar: The Nike Blazer will cost you €110 and will also be available in many shops from 9 March 2021 at 09:00. You can find release info like this for all important sneakers in our release calendar.
