Finnish brand Karhu are releasing a new must-have Legend Pack consisting of a white Fusion 2.0, a black Fusion 2.0 and a grey Legacy 96. To bring colour into the monochrome colour palette, they also accentuated another Fusion 2.0 and a Synchron Classic, each on a grey-black base with bright pink.
For the shoot, the brand worked with photographer Justine Leewarts and stylist Lisa Anne Stuzyfzand.
The pack will be released on 12 March 2020 at 00:00.
Strong brand
Karhu is now known for the subtle yet recognisable use of colour in its collections. Originally developed as running shoes, the Kicks were worn by Hannes Kolehmainen, long-distance runner and the first "Flying Finn" (briefly the brand name), among others. Around the world, the sneakers dominated running tracks and in 1920, Finnish track and field athlete Paavo Nurmi won the Olympic gold medal wearing them.
The sneakers continuously established themselves in the sports scene and so Karhu also patented the first "Air Cushion" midsole system for their shoes in 1970. In the meantime, there are many lifestyle silhouettes in addition to the sporty ones, and the "M" on the long side of the shoes is a character feature. It is derived from the word "Mestari", which means "champion" in Finnish. Different designs of the M logo have adorned the models over the years and it is still used today.
By the way, 'Karhu' is Finnish for bear and therefore naturally strong:

Let's stop beating around the bush; now we present you with the releases of the new Karhu Pack. You can clearly see the sporty background in all the models, with the Fusion 2.0 being one of the most popular.

The Fusion 2.0 'Dawn Blue' convinces with more colour and its pink details on a grey, beige and light blue base. The special lacing system of the Fusion also comes into its own here!
Karhu Legacy 96 Legend Pack 'Dawn Blue' | F806021
The Legacy 96 is also a bestseller of the brand. Its upper is made of soft mesh and suede. The 'Dawn Blue' is kept simple and with its modern design and sporty touch, it can definitely become a classic. Here, too, the white midsole rounds off the design.
Karhu Synchron Legend Pack 'Black' | F802660
The Synchron also flirts with colourful highlights in antique pink and bright pink. Special attention is paid to the innovative lacing system, which allows the shoe to adapt perfectly to your foot and is extremely comfortable.
The reinforced heel cup supports the resilience of the heel. Again, mesh and suede are used.
