From festivals to heavy city downpours, rain boots have been essential for years, and these days, they’re also seen as a stylish choice. With boots from Barbour, Hunter, and now Dr. Martens, one thing is certain: rain boots are here to stay (yay, dry feet).
The 1460 Rain Boot is the newest addition to the lineup.
The 1460 Rain Boot is designed to take on the discomfort of a rainstorm, something that happens quite often in this little rainy country. The design is inspired by the iconic 1460 silhouette but swaps the traditional leather upper for a waterproof PVC construction.
The Wellington boot features the brand’s signature heat-sealed construction and air-cushioned sole, making every step feel comfortable. The design stays true to its predecessor, with molded faux welts, a ribbed sole edge, a rubber heel loop, and the signature Puritan stitching as defining details.
The BEN sole comes with a coarser tread pattern and is paired with a SoftWair insole, providing instant, all-day comfort and grip, even in the biggest puddles.

The boot is showcased in the 'Wear the Weather' campaign, which celebrates rain rather than seeing it as the ultimate enemy of your outfit.
The Dr. Martens 1460 Rain Boot is available in three colors: 'Black', 'Olive', and, my personal favorite, 'Yellow'. Check out the campaign images below and grab your pair of rain boots for this season (or for your next festival).
